The project explores the limitation of the platform Zoom, which we all got to use during Covid.
We challenged the idea of identity and what can be told and perceived of us by a small square on a screen.
The video wanted to portray how we can shift between disembodiment and reach a form of embodiment in a digital space. We decided to break the framing through filming different body parts and merging them together in order to create different identities.
We aimed to portray the disembodiment of bodies and the embodiment of identities into a new figure, composed of many people’s body parts (heads, torso, legs and feet) in order to understand a bit more of who we are as individuals and how we develop as individuals when we are in contact with others.
